At last! After months of planning and a month of waiting for the auspicious date, it finally came. The gathering of my secondary school friends. The last time we were in school together was about 15 years ago. That long!!!



Meeting place was Fig & Olive at Bencoolen Street. My first time there. Definitely not my last. Delicious!

Meeting these friends brought back old fond memories. The time when we were young and carefree. Not that we aren't young anymore. But we were definitely younger then! Short tight dark blue school skirts and cigarettes! We even have a 'Port' a few blocks away from school where we hungout after classes. Some unlucky days, the bloody prefects would run after us trying to catch us with cigarettes evidence. We would run like crazy and destroy the evidence by throwing it on the floor, the grass, the dustbin. We didn't think of creating fire. We only thought of saving our ass!

Some stories were shared and what a good laugh we had. I've never cried while laughing before but I did yesterday. I wish we can have more of such meetings again.



To my said friends - even though I don't think all of them read my blog - I love you all! And to the one at the opposite side of the world, I wish you were here. We miss you.
