* I was chatting online with a friend from America about earthquakes. He asked if I know what to do if there's one. He advised me to stand under a door frame. Somehow the door frame will stay while the rest of the house will collapse. I said, "But, Clint, I am on the 11th floor! There are 25 floors in the building!" He laughed showing that silly smiley icon. "Lynn! You're screwed!"

* My family is invited to dinner on Saturday. Apparently, hubby has some distant relatives from China, whom he has never met or heard of before. They are here for a visit. What I like about such gatherings is that I get to meet my siblings in law all at the same time. And I don't have to socialise with the relatives because they don't know how to speak English! Ha!

* Hubby attended a 2-days Police Workplan Seminar. Guess who is doing a singing performance tomorrow? Taufik Batisah. Cool, huh?

* My girl told me that Friday is Friendship Day. She brought from school some coloured strings to make that once famous friendship wrist band. Brings back memories of my secondary school days when we were told not to wear it in school but we did anyway and got it confiscated. Thinking about it now, I wonder why couldn't we wear it?
