A surprise visit! Yes, we were definitely surprised! A pleasant one.

She came all the way from New Orleans to visit. The gang couldn't wait to meet her. After 4 years apart, we definitely miss her. So we met at Balaclava Bar in Suntec City within her first 24 hours in Singapore.

When we saw one another (I was real late), we screamed and hugged and hugged and hugged!!! Then we'd looked at one another's face, and screamed and hugged again! So much screaming and hugging in one minute! Then she let me picked one bracelet and put it on on my wrist. So sweet...

She looks radiant, beautiful. She speaks different now with an accent. I guess that's what you get when you live with an American husband and being surrounded by caucasians, eh. Hee3. But she's still the same old Nora, with her great sense of humour and chatty personality. We cracked at her jokes and her hillarious expressions. How I missed her so.

We went on to a karaoke pub at Duxton Road. She's a great singer and I missed her singing voice, too, so I picked a few songs for her. She sang Angel beautifully. I can still hear her voice in my head now.



It was a great night. I hope to see her again before she leaves for home. Now that her home is too far away.
