We're back. A day longer than planned. But it was fun!
6 days in KL and our swimsuits didn't have the chance to dry. And our stomachs didn't have the chance to growl in hunger. Really. It was a fun and feasty holiday.
The swimming pool view at Berjaya Times Square Hotel was beautiful. There's a dining room, living room and through the sliding door is our bedroom. They even have separate rooms for toilets and shower/bathtub. It was grand. We spent the afternoon playing the rides at the indoor theme park. I took the roller coaster (alone this time round) for the second time and didn't scream. Chedebah! Went for a swim in the pool later in the evening.

On the second day, we went to Petaling Street and bought only 3 DVDs and some goodies. At the same time, I was to search for some items Mom requested. The incredibly hot sunny day didn't help at all in the search. My kids were grumpy and sweaty. The search led us to Central Market and then later to Jalan Masjid India. That's where I found Mom's request. All sweaty and sticky, we hailed a cab to bring us back to the hotel for a dip in the pool! That was heaven. Dinner was at Bukit Bintang. The last time we were there, we found a suppossedly popular shop selling chicken rice.
And because it was late, the chicken was sold out. So this time, we returned to the same place to get what we missed. It was worth the wait.
Third day was a more relaxed day. We stayed in bed and the kids played in the bathtub. We checked out at noon and headed to Sunway Lagoon.
We had to wait for 2 hours to check in. That's fine with us because we were promised a good view of the lagoon. Once we checked in, the kids got all excited and demanded to go at once.
Since it was already late, we told them we'd go the next day. So we went for a buffet dinner instead.
Fourth day was lagoon day. I met Salina at the entrance. We didn't plan the exact time and place to meet but there she was checking out the entry prices on the signboard with her family. We got all excited and promised to meet again inside.
The day at the lagoon wasn't so fulfilling. The kids got hungry. Hubby couldn't stop sneezing and coughing.
So we left and got ourselves some food and let hubby slept some medicines away. Sigh. Later when he felt better, we went for another buffet dinner.
We were supposed to leave for home on the fifth day. But hubby suggested we extended another night. WooWWheeee!
So we went to the lagoon again. This time we practically tried all the rides at the Dryland and spent the rest of the time at Wetland. Until they told us that they're closing. Hee3. Dinner was yet another buffet.
So we left for home the next day. Holiday is over. Spent 6hour journey including traffic jams at the immigration checkpoints in the car till the butt swell. Nevertheless, it's home sweet home.
Here are some things I learned and realised while in Malaysia.
1. Muat turun is download. It took me a while to figure that out.
2. Alat ganti tulen. It took me a LONG while to figure THAT out! It's photocopy machine lah!
3. Prices quoted are all subject to 5% government tax. It annoys me to have so many 1cent coins.
4. It didn't rain for the whole 6 days we were there.
There are so many things that I find weird which I can't think right now. But basically, it was a fun experience.
