My beautiful darling daughter celebrated her 8th birthday yesterday. She requested to spend the day with her best friend months before. At first, when she told me she wanted to invite her class, I nearly fainted. What? 29 of them? No no no. I can't do it. Imagine the food that I have to prepare. The noise. The chaos. No no no. So she settled for only one friend. Her best. And her closest family.
So since Daddy isn't around, Mummy tried her very best to make the day as fun and joyful as she deserves. We went to Downtown East and spent the time at Wild Wild Wet. It was so so fun! You know that big pail of Yakult filled with water? (third picture) When it's tilted, it pours out a whole load of water down. I managed to position myself right below at the centre and sat there for a while. It was so very very shiok!
Ok so now I forgot that this entry is suppose to be about my daughter. Haha. Yeah, she had fun, too :p
So my darling, Princess Diana, I'm so happy that you enjoyed your day. I pray that you will grow up to be a good girl and be a good example to your younger brother. And don't ever forget to respect your elders. And listen to your parents. Especially me. Muahahaha!!!
Happy Birthday, Darling!

Happy belated birthday little princess Diana.
Lyn, coincidentally, my wife just metnioned to me last evening about how fast my eldest daughter has grown. One moment she was a cute little toddler and come September this year she would be 12 already. I told her that's the way it is and also to remind us that we are aging as well.

Shireen, thanks! Will pass the msg to her :D
Yer saya ke sana pun dengan kuncu-kuncu (tapi kuncu tua). So macam ribut sikit hari tu sebab tu tak ajak awak. Lain kali kita pergi lagi kita calling calling eh.
Yaslam, thank you!
Yes we are aging, and that is scary, isn't it? When I was young, I thought my mom was old. And now I think my daughter think I am old. UWaaaaah!!!

Kids seem to grow up really fast. One day they're celebrating their birthday, the next you'll be arranging their wedding or something. Hehe!! :D
